International Student-Athletes across the ocean!

In this section of the website, we are choosing to highlight and showcase some of the journeys across the ocean that have already been made. We are doing this in hope of inspiring future student-athletes that have aspiration towards making it to the states, and show the current athletes that are on similar journeys that they are not alone on this journey. 

As an athlete myself, I understand feeling lonely when you are so far away from home, family and friends in order to achieve a dream. I felt it many times during my first years across the ocean, but I figured I would talk to some friends that were doing the same thing. By doing this, I quickly realized that we had a lot more in common on this journey than I thought. We both were missing homecooked meals, our families, our friends from back home and etc., but we knew why we were doing it. We were chasing the dreams that all of our people back home have supported us for. By hearing this, it helped me a lot. I did not feel as lonely and it also inspired me to hear that my peers were sacrificing the same things I did.
