Why you should take the step and follow your dreams.

There are many fears when it comes to embarking on this journey. Trust me, I had a lot of them when I first started thinking about it. I was and still am, determined to make my dreams a reality and I would stop at nothing to achieve what I set out to do as a 2 year old boy. However, we are all human and moving away from your comfort zone of friends, family and loved ones is never an easy thing to do, especially at such a young age. The purpose of this is to talk about all the experiences and benefits that I personally have gained throughout my years on this side of the ocean and I hope to inspire some of you to do the same. 

Although there has been many hardships throughout my years, I would say that the experiences I have gained have been worth it through it all. I have met friends that I consider family and a few of them are actually my best friends I have ever had. I have seen places I would never be able to see if it was not for me taking that leap of faith and moving across the world.  In the picture above, I was playing against Kansas University at Allan Fieldhouse in front of a sold out crowd. I have played in NBA arenas, met NBA players, met my idols and the list goes on. However, I do believe that the relationships that you build throughout this journey is what makes it al worth it. You meet so many people from different backgrounds that you bond with in such a special way. It is hard to explain but if anyone would ask me if it was worth it, I would always say that it has been a few of the best years of my life so far and I wish everyone could have a similar experience.
